GMS provides tools for every phase of a groundwater simulation including site characterization,

model development, calibration, post-processing, and visualization. GMS supports a number of finite-difference and finite-element models in 2D and 3D including MODAEM, MODFLOW 2000, MODPATH, MT3DMS, RT3D, SEAM3D, FEMWATER, PEST, SEEP2D and UTEXAS.

GMS can be used for a number of modeling applications including site visualization, aquifer resource studies, well field management and permitting, site contamination evaluation and cleanup, natural attenuation and bioremediation, as well as seepage and slope stability.
